This tour of the Beagle Channel, islands teeming with wildlife, the penguin colony and Estancia Harberton is well worth the time and money although we had a bit of a glitch in our tour. We had booked a tour on a small boat with 20 passengers. We were placed on a catamaran with three decks containing several hundred people. Bait and switch? Communication with Trip Advisor was poor. We thought we were with a company called Signature Tours, when we got to the pier the morning of departure, no one had heard of them. We spent about 30 minutes determining where we needed to be. We ended up with a company called Rombu Sur. The wind was blowing the day of our tour, so the channel was rough. The larger boat was more comfortable and we enjoyed our tour, especially of the museum at Harberton. Wonderful English speaking guides. We rode a comfortable bus back to Ushuaia. All in all we had a great day after a stressful start due to poor communication by Trip Advisor. None of the emails I sent were responded to by Trip Advisor. My advice? Wait until you are in Ushuaia and book your tour directly with the tour company and cut out the middle man! Shame on Trip Advisor.

Péssimo atendimento. Ainda não fui ressarcido. No dia de meu passeio não havia a reserva. Não me avisaram. O nome do funcionário é Manuel. Tive que comprar o passeio por outra agência local. O passeio dura todo o dia e não tem sinal de internet. Para minha surpresa, à noite, quando tive sinal de internet, vi que o Manuel havia me mandado um email dizendo que eu teria de cancelar pelo site o passeio, que ele havia por conta própria passado para o dia seguinte (dia que eu estaria viajando). Logicamente quando tentei cancelar, já estava no período de menos de 24hs e no site me dizia que não haveria reembolso. Passei um email para o Manuel e ele simplesmente me ignorou. Quero saber como ficará o meu reembolso, uma vez que o erro foi de um de seus funcionários (inclusive ele pede desculpas pelo erro em um email que me enviou). O código de minha compra, que paguei no cartão de crédito, é 1130645590. E o valor pago foi R$ 953,96. Referência da reserva BR-732017002. Aguardo uma definição. Obrigado.
