Jetlag? Shake that off in Balicasag. Here, palm trees tower in contrast with the multi-colored beach umbrellas. And the immaculate white beaches beckon, this is a piece of paradise you must have. Balicasag is your typical circular tropical island surrounded by white to crystal to deep blue gradient in your color palette. The aquamarine water hides the islands greatest spectacles: its dive sites, among the world’s best. For starters, its snorkeling sites are gorgeous and will allow you to see your first clown fish. Swim into a swarm of feeding jackfish, and gape at an occasional grumpy grouper shying its way from the party. With popularly rated dives sites around the island, one can have Divers Haven, Turtle Point, Cathedral Wall, Royal Garden and the Black Forest, just take your fill. And when you’re done with it, leave only footprints.

Balicasag Reef, Philippines The boatmen will take you to the spot where dolphins swim around the area. About 20 - 30 minutes and you'll reach the destination. Once you get close to the dolphins, the engine of the boat will be turned off, so the dolphins won't be driven away. Of course, you can't swim with them, they're too fast. Some dolphins even jumped out of the water. It was really amazing to see dolphins swimming in the wild.

Balicasag Island, Balicasag Island, Philippines After watching some dolphins, and about 20 - 30 minutes of boat ride again, We arrived in Balicasag Island. It's an island popularly know for diving and snorkeling activities. This is where Balicasag Island Dive Resort is. The island has a light tower in the middle of it. There are also places here that you can eat lunch. Immediately went snorkeling in the fish sanctuary.
The shallow area of the snorkeling spot where you can feed the fishes, is quite rocky because of the corals so you actually need to wear an aqua shoes. The tour guide will be taking you to different spots where colorful fishes can be seen. 120 minutes
Virgin Island, Philippines Last stop on the tour is at "Puntod" Island, also know as Virgin Island. It is a small uninhabited crescent shaped island. From far, you might see some people that looked like walking in the water because the island also submerge a little in the water.
After some pictures and swimming, back to Alona Beach in Panglao 60 minutes
Isola di Francesco, Philippines Isola di Francesco, a mere ten-minute boat ride from Panglao proper, is a great destination for those who wish to retreat, reflect, and pray in harmony with the lapping of the waves and the chirping of the island’s resident birds.
Upon arrival, you are greeted by the welcoming arms of a huge statue of St. Pio of Pietrelcina.
A chapel was opened in the island last year and there’s a holy mass said every 23rd day of the month.
In March, Isola opened another avenue for people to get in touch with the Creator – Isola di Francesco’s Nature’s Art Museum.
And for every item that is being displayed in the museum, there is only one rule.
“Everything must be made by God. You can clean, frame, and arrange to make it presentable; but you cannot alter anything, even the color must be original,” explains Isola owner and utmost St. Pio devotee, Mr. Ramon Rodriguez.
And to everyone’s amazement, the museum is filled with items that speak of the grandeur of God and His Creation. 60 minutes

After our lunch, we said goodbye to Giselle and our driver drove us to Moalboal. We went to the starting point, which is like in the town centre, where we registered ourselves with name, age, nationality, and attended a short briefing of the rules. We also paid 800 pesos for Go Pro service by our boat guide for the 3h island hopping tour. After which we went on a boat to Pescador Island (that took about 20mins) to see numerous different types of fishes! They were very beautiful and our guide dived very deep to help us video the fishes swimming. He also videoed us trying to dive along with the fishes. We literally found Nemo there ????. We spent 30mins there before moving on to near the shore (that took about 20mins) to see the sardines. They were numerous and swam in packs. I tried to swim together with them but they will dodge humans very fast. Our last stop was the sea turtles, which were a 5mins swim across the shore only. It was there where the guide dived with me to video me close up with the turtle. Luckily, the turtle was very close to shore so we did not need to dive in deep. Once all these were done, we rode back to the starting port, and then the locals help us transfer the photos and videos from the Go Pro to our phones!
Safety: Wear the life-vests on board, you can choose to take out while in the water watching the fishes so as to dive deeper. Snorkelling gear with breathing pipe is provided too for free. However flippers come at additional cost of 100 pesos, which we did not get as we had Decathlon wet shoes on and they were good enough to swim. Be warned, the boat engine is LOUD. If it rains at your period, the boat captain may go back on shore earlier for everyone’s safety, and there’s no refund.
Rules: Don’t touch the fishes and sea turtle. Don’t go hunt the fishes. Don’t step on the sea bed and disturb the sediment and corals. Don’t take dead fishes or plants from the sea.
Transportation: Some tuktuk bikes might be willing to go to Moalboal from Cebu City/ other cities nearby. Otherwise private car is recommended!

The guide met me at hotel and took me to the boat to meet the crew which was great. The boat driver did not seem to speak English which had been stated in the booking - luckily the other passengers all spoke English. The tour I booked stated bottled water was included, however this was not the case. No water was offered at any pointincluding at lunch, and I had to pay for a drink at one of the islands we stopped at. I had brought one small bottle of water which was lucky.
The snorkelling and dolphin watching was amazing, and the guide in the canoe even dove under to get close up photos of turtles on my camera for me. The lunch on the sandbar at Virgin Island was good - The setup was all in the water so we were sitting up to our waist in water eating freshly cooked seafood and rice.
