A unique experience in the only thatched cottage in the legendary fishing village The Claddagh. Experience Irish dance in the way it was shared in the past. Learn in a safe, non-judgemental, and cozy environment with an experienced tutor who has taught at the largest festival of Celtic music Celtic Connections. You will have the opportunity to try two styles of Irish traditional dance- Irish step dancing and Sean-nós dancing.

We (2 friends, my husband and me) have booked it for our first evening in Galway on Monday evening at 9 pm. Aneta welcomed us very heartly and first showed us the cottage and told a bit about its history before she summarized what will happen this evening. At the practical part (after app. 10 minutes) she showed us every single step. Then we could repeat while she did it as well; so we could look in her feet and do the same. She often looked over her shoulder to check if we need more repeating or can go further on. So we got a performance step by step and could do a video while dancing. Afterwards she went with us in town to tell which pub we can find live music in. We won't forget that evening and can recommend it to everyone who want to learn a bit Irish dance and different styles of it.

Anete ist eine sehr gute kompetente Lehrerin die mit Geduld und Herzlichkeit Freude und Heiterkeit unterrichtet. Wir konnten die Grundschritte des traditionellem sowie modernen Irish Dance lernen und praktizieren. Zudem lernten wir die Hintergründe und Unterschiedlichkeit des Tanzes kennen. für jemanden der Irland liebt und kennen lernen will eine tolle Erfahrung den der Tanz ist und hat einen wichtigen Hintergrund und gehört wie die Musik zum Leben der Irländer Zudem zeigt es auch auf was es für eine Geschicklichkeit und diszipliniertes Training braucht Anete bringt einem dies mit den ersten Schritten mit viel Humor und Liebe zum Tanz bei. Ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen.
