I read good reviews and that is why I booked it. The guide Drew definitely knew what he was talking about. The weather during the day was spectacular, which I hear is not always the norm. The knowledge gained was definitely worth it. Going back to the volcano after dinner and seeing the lava and then experiencing the stargazing portion was absolutely worth the money.

The itinerary of the trip was great, Dreu made it an excellent and memorable experience with his knowledge, personality and hospitality. We saw amazing things, but came away with a sense of the history, traditions and culture of Hawaii, as well as a few things about astronomy, geology and geography. The black sand beach and the lava at night were a couple of the highlights of a great day that was engaging and entertaining. Highly recommend.
