    This highly popular activity is not for the faint of heart. After a two-hour drive from Santiago into the middle of the Maipo Canyon, we will arrive at Cascada de Las Animas in the small town of San Alfonso on the banks of the Maipo River. Cascada de Las Animas has more than 25 years of experience in ecotourism with more than 8,000 acres of mountain ranges, valleys, springs and waterfalls. Canopy consists of soaring from treetop to treetop while being securely buckled to a steel cable. Every treetop carries its own platform, allowing you to enjoy the spectacular forest views while your safety guide prepares you for your next flight. Safety comes first and the outdoor experts at Cascada de Las Animas will make absolutely sure that you will be able to enjoy this exhilarating activity in a carefree and safe manner. The Zip Line is a 558-foot cable crossing the Maipo River, one of the longest in Chile. The Zips can reach up to 30 miles per hour. An exciting experience where vertigo and adrenaline are combined with the indescribable pleasure of appreciating splendid scenery and enjoying the wind hitting your face.

  • The minimum age for canopy is 18 years old and the maximum weight is 100 kilos (220 lbs.). There is a minimum weight of 40 kilos (88 lbs.) and maximum of 110 kilos (240 lbs.) for zip lining (between 12 and 14 years old).
  • Although this is a private tour with your own vehicle and guide, there may be others joining you in the zip lining/canopy and at the vineyard, which is beyond our control.
  • Concha y Toro Vineyard is closed on January 1, Good Friday, May 1, September 18-19, and December 25. On these dates an alternative vineyard will be selected or a wine tasting picnic will be offered.
  • An alternative vineyard will be visited if Concha y Toro does not have availability on the date selected.
  • Your health is our priority. All of our tours include private transportation in order to maintain social distancing in compliance with the U.N. World Health Organization’s Guidelines to Restart Tourism (25 May 2020). You will be the only guests in the tour van. We also provide hand sanitizer and masks are available for all guests.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

This was a modified trip done by @ChileDreamTour for us. We wanted to go zip lining and white water rafting while in the same area, so @ChileDreamTours made this happen- first we went ZipLining at Cascada de Las Animas... where we had an awesome time. They reviewed all the safety measures first and made sure we had fun zip lining through the canopies. Afterwards we had a good lunch at @CasaBosque before going White Water rafting at @RutaVerticalRafting ... for an afternoon of fun in the sun and a dip in cold water. Our rafting guides -Phillip and Bastin - made our experience fun and safe. All in all Chile Dream Tours was able to create a fun filled and great Day in Cajon Maipo. Had so much fun. Felt safe at all times during the zip line and canopy tour. Awesome views at each canopy spot as well as Wineries tour. Best part from wine tour is tasting the wine
