This is a trip to the beaches on the western side of Salalah. Fazayah Beach (also spelled as Al-Fazaiah or Al-Fizayah) is one of the best beaches in Oman. Its a 5 kilometers long pristine white sand beach with clear water and a stunning landscape at the back-ground. Experienced driver in 4x4 vehicle will take you there. It's a pristine beach for swimming and picnic. The journey of Salalah is incomplete without a trip to white sand beaches of Mughsayl and the blowholes overlooking Marneef cave. The blowholes are also referred as Mughsayl Natural Fountains by the tourists. The water jet from the blowholes vary according to the season, but can get as high as 28m in the sky in Khareef season. This is a unique trek in the Middle East where you start your walk from beach and go up to a cave and end up at blowholes. The tour also features some other amazing spots on the west side, like Eftalqout beach and Afoul Beach (Masood Hidden Beach).

    Any Khor is an amazing place. There is a seasonal waterfall in Khareef season. This place will only be visited in khareef and when there is a waterfall. For the other part of the year, this place will be replaced with the other popular place during that time (beach and / or other mountain place - like Ayn Ghaidh)

Occasionally you can see the camels passing by. This brings a flavor of adventure to the road trip. In addition to the Fazayah Beach, you will see the Frankincense trees on the rocks.

Amazing Adventure with Abu Salim! We had an unforgettable experience on the Ayn Khor Waterfall and Fazayah Beach tour. The scenery was breathtaking—from the lush green mountains to the crystal-clear waters of the beach. Our guide, Abu Salim, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely at ease throughout the journey. His 4x4 driving skills were impressive, especially through the off-road and water tracks! Highly recommended if you want a fun and safe adventure in Salalah.

Toyota Landcruiser picked me up on time. (I guess the car type depends on the number of passengers.) Our tour guide Adel was very friendly, sociable, and accommodating. I should also note that he is a very careful driver which is very important when driving on steep mountains. West tour includes more beaches and driving across the mountains. Thus, there were fewer bathrooms and food stalls on the way, unlike the East tour. So it’s better to grab your snacks. There is a cafe and an ice-cream truck in Mughsail Beach. Water was provided throughout the day. We had lunch at around 3 pm in an Omani restaurant. It was delicious. To enter the Prophet’s tomb, women must cover their heads, so grab a scarf. I loved the scenery of the west side of Salalah more than the east side. The main reason is that the east side isn’t that green and waterfalls aren’t there yet (June 16-21). Overall, I loved every moment of this tour!

Very nice experience with Abo Salim as our tour guide. Absolutely breathtaking views off the beaten track, amazing beaches that would never have been able to find without his local knowledge.
