About the tour

Walking through the Vatican City is truly an unique experience. When you're in Rome the world famous and smallest independent state in the world definitely deserves a visit. This tour is offered with a guide in Dutch only. A big advantage of booking this walking tour is that fast-track tickets to the museums are included, so you get to skip the long queues at the entrance. The Dutch speaking guide will accompany you through the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, where you can admire the famous and fascinating frescoes by Michelangelo. The tour continues with a visit to the impressive St. Peter's Basilica.

  • Departure time: every Tuesday Thursday and Saturday at 1:45 PM 
  • Maximum of 30 people per group
  • Duration: approx. 3 hours
  • Children between 0 - 6 are free of charge
  • Children age 7 - 18 years old receive a discount
  • Buggy's are not allowed inside. You can leave them at the entrance, but please note that the tour ends in a different location, so you will need to walk back to collect the buggy 
  • After the tour you can climb the dome of the St Peter´s Basilica if you want
  • Excluding access to the elevators of the St Peter´s Basilica
  • The tickets are non-refundable
  • The departure time can change based on non availability of entrance tickets
  • During a last-minute closure of the St Peter´s Basilica the visit to the Vatican will be extended as compensation
  • Not accessible for the disabled/wheelchair users
