Enjoyable and informative the Shenanigans walk with Neville was a great stroll with great stories. The only way to improve on this walk would be a cold pint!

My wife and I joined Nevin for his tour of Kilkenny on a lovely afternoon last week. We would highly recommend this tour as Nevin has something for everyone crammed into it. The tour starts at the castle where he give you some interesting facts and "fictions". Its up to you to sort out which is which. The tour wends its way down through the city's streets and alleyways with more of those stories along the way. Nevin is also a "magician" and this is why I say the tour is for all as he is able to keep the younger ones amused with his sleight of hand and magical tricks along the way. So don't think your kids will be bored because they won't. Apart from that he is a very nice guy who can chat away about everything. What we liked was that we noticed he was able to identify with all nationalities and discuss something about their country and sometimes link it to Kilkenny or Ireland. All in all this is a great tour, well worth the money. Thankyou Nevin and all.

This tour was a great introduction to Kilkenny! The guide, Neven, was fun and full of knowledge. He provided a great scope of the city, it’s most entertaining history, and some of the best places to visit while there.
I am not usually a reviewer but I wanted to review this one because Nevan’s thoughtfulness meant a lot to me!
I have mobility struggles and use a cane, so walking tours can be very tiring for me. I knew this going in and did my best to prepare for it, but expected to be exhausted by the end. Because of this I really appreciated that Nevan went out of his way to check in with me and made simple (but impactful) accommodations to ease the strain on my body. For example, if we were at a stop where he would talk for a bit he made sure we were near benches so I could rest. It meant I could still enjoy the city a bit more after the tour.
He made accommodations for other guests as well. Definitely the most disability friendly walking tour I’ve ever been on :)
