We had a fantastic climb yesterday. The views were spectacular and the level of difficulty was perfect for our family (mum, dad and two boys aged 10 and 7).
The whole afternoon was capably led by Thomas, who has two decades of experience and knows every inch of the route. Between him and the sturdy steel cables of the via ferrata, we felt confident that we were completely safe at all times. We also appreciated that Thomas took regular photos of us climbing (which he didn’t charge for) so that we had a record of our adventures but could concentrate our own attention on climbing.
The staff at Skyclimber will advise you what to bring on your particular activity and according to the expected weather, but we found that sturdy, grippy trainers and normal travel clothing was ideal. I (dad) carried a small backpack with some extra clothes for if the kids got cold at the top, but it was actually quite warm up there (it’s not nearly as high as Monte Baldo, which we got the cable car to).
All round, a fantastic family adventure activity and highly recommended.
