About the tour
First, you go together with the local guide to the Cannaregio neighborhood where you will stop in the heart of an old Jewish quarter where you have the opportunity to taste a traditional kosher pastry. Next, it is time for coffee! And the best coffee is to be found in a historic torrefazione. Get a delicious freshly brewed cup of coffee when you learn to drink like a local!
After your dose of caffeine, you go on with your walk through Cannaregio where you will stop at a family bakery that is known for its delicious torrone and other traditional desserts. Learn all about the history, the ingredients and preparation of these wonderful desserts. After this, you'll visit the Castello neighborhood where you discover the area and, of course, where you'll visit a patisserie. You get a mix of desserts that you can taste. From the square, you look out over the magnificent Church of San Giovanni e Paolo.
The last stop is made at the Rialto Bridge and a chocolate shop. Get a great chocolate tasting and learn all about chocolate making. At the end the guide gives you some useful tips for your stay in Venice!
