What is shown in the picture and reality is not different; it was a bait-and-switch setup. This is not a fancy massage experience nor will you get what is included in the pictures posted. Its two people with a couple of empty home stay rooms. When pushed on what is included in this listing and what was on offer, they started making up excuses for why it was different and tried to up sell new services. I went in with low expectations, maybe your experience will be different, but this was so much worse than I could have expected.

I had the most wonderful and healing experience at Adams Wood House, a peaceful Ayurvedic homestay tucked away in a quiet part of Kochi. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed like family. The home is simple, serene, and comfortable — my air-conditioned room was spotless and cozy, perfect for rest and recovery. The real highlight of my stay was the authentic Ayurvedic care and therapies. Adam, the in-house practitioner, is incredibly skilled and intuitive — his massages and treatments are some of the best I’ve ever had. I combined my Panchakarma with a few visits to a local Ayurvedic doctor to tailor the detox to some minor health concerns, and both Adam and Firoz (the lovely and attentive owner) were more than happy to accommodate the adjustments. Overall I enjoyed this more than if I had stayed in an Ayurvedic hospital. And it was certainly more affordable. The food deserves a special mention — home-cooked, simple, nourishing, and absolutely delicious, made with love and care. Every meal felt like a continuation of the healing process. This place is a true gem — unpretentious, deeply rooted in traditional Ayurvedic wisdom, and guided by kind souls who genuinely care about your wellbeing. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply grateful. I’d return in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone seeking genuine Ayurvedic healing in a warm, homely environment. It was a true pleasure to stay at Adams wood house. The place boosted of positiv energy. The room we got was fab due to its large windows with greenery in front. Firoz was a super host.
