I want to preface this by saying we had the boat to ourselves! Also first tip- look for Secret Cays. There’s a bunch of boats and companies at the Margaritaville restaurant and this company’s boat is small and only says name once on booking above the help/support. We went on the 9:00 am ride on a Saturday and were the only two which was awesome. Captain Jay and Jim were friendly, personable, and helpful. They said they can fit up to twelve on the boat so I bet the afternoon rides on weekends are busier. They provided drinks on board and had great music playing! We snorkeled which was fun and beautiful. We also went to the island where they shot Gilligan’s Island. We had to swim a bit to get there but it was worth it. We were the only two there and it was so cool. Unfortunately we didn’t get to swim with the turtles because there was a shark warning where they would be. That was disappointing especially because it had been closed for a month and we had no idea until we were hours in on the boat. However, the pigs were awesome! The boat anchored and a jet ski with a banana boat attached to it took us over to the pig island. They provided food for us to feed the pigs, let us hold them and pet them, and took pictures for us. We also went on a very quick nature walk- less than a minute- that took us to the other side where the beach was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this excursion! It wasn’t too expensive but was a fun, memorable time.
