Sidi Bou Said is undeniably picturesque, with its iconic blue-and-white architecture, cobbled streets, and stunning views of the Mediterranean. It's the kind of place that looks fantastic in photos and for that reason, it's worth a quick visit.
However, the charm quickly fades due to overcrowding and an overwhelming number of street vendors. The narrow streets are packed with tourists, and the constant pressure to buy souvenirs can make the experience feel more commercial than cultural.
While the aesthetic appeal is real and perfect for a few memorable photos, there's not much else to do beyond that. It's a good stop if you're already in the area, but don’t expect a peaceful or immersive experience.
In short: nice to see, but not a must-stay.
