I'm sure parasailing would have been wonderful (if we were able to do it). My wife and I were very excited for our first time parasailing as we were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary with a cruise to Mexico. We had our tickets and confirmation email that stated our tour would start at 11 am but when we arrived we were told the excursion didn't start until 12. That would have been fine but the last tender boat back to the cruise ship was leaving at 1:45 pm and the tour wouldn't get done until 1:30pm. The excursion offered to water taxi us back to the dock at half price but we didn't want to risk it as 15 minutes was not a lot of time to go across the pier. If there were any delays of any kind we would have been left in Mexico. We decided to just cut our time short and just go back to the ship. I reached out to Viator and let them know the circumstances but was told they would not refund me the money as we could have made it back to the ship in time. I explained again that everything I was given showed 11 and not 12 but was still denied a refund. Since they denied helping me in anyway I kindly said thank you but will no longer be using Viator for any future excursions as that is not how you treat customers.
