I purchased the audio guide at 8:06am. There was no information provided about how to access the audio guide once purchased. Within 20 minutes, I requested a refund as I did not have any information to access the guide purchased and I was already in the neighborhood where it was to start. One hour and fifteen minutes later, I had a message in TripAdvisor that provided a link to the app that needed to be downloaded. This also had a code to redeem the tour. I input the code but received error messages that code was already used and was unable to access the tour. I responded to the message stating the code did not work but received no reply. My request for a refund was replied to by Viator who simply said “no” but still did not provide me with new information to access the audio guide that was purchased. I emailed them a handful of times and the only response I got was “sorry no refunds”. I even asked for a new code to listen to the guide at a later date and was ignored. As of now, 2 full days later, I still have not received an active code nor access to the guide I purchased. Viator refuses to refund and now stopped responding. I am no longer in Curaçao but would still listen to the guide and pay if provided with the guide that I purchased but as of right now Viator charged me for a guide never provided. I have to open a dispute with my credit card. Do not work with Viator. I should have purchased directly from PocketGuide (the actual tour provider) which was also at cheaper cost.
I will not do business with Viator again, especially a tour of any significant money. This one was pretty cheap (still more expensive than direct, which I did not realize until after) but they have been terrible to deal with.
