Upon arrival the manager informed us that all activities would be canceled for the day due to wind conditions. I just wish they would’ve mentioned this before we had gotten on the ride to go to the resort so we could’ve picked something else for the day. $230 was just a lot of money to spend to lay around at the beach all day.
Really well organised, people are super friendly, snorkelling was fun! I saw some turtles, beautiful corals and lots of different fish. I get cold pretty easily but fortunately there was an option to rent a wet suit for an additional $10. I spent the whole day there, very nice and relaxing atmosphere, some lunch options as well. Grilled conch was nice.
I booked a 10am pickup but actually the pickup arrived around 9:20 to reach Paradise Cove at 10 - this was a bit unexpected but fortunately the driver waited for me and it was not an issue.
Definitely recommend!
We did the Paradise Cove Day Pass on 8 Feb 2025. There were 5 adults and 1 five year old in our party. We had an amazing time. Mr. Parker picked us up from the port, and drove us to the destination. He was very courteous, and provide info during the drive. His mic wasn't working, so the folks in the back probably couldn't hear him. We were picked up near the Pineridge Locomotive Axle. The folks, in the port were very familiar with the Viator excursion, and told us exactly where to wait. When we arrived, we were given a safety briefing, and then issued tickets to redeem for the various items of the excursion, e.g. food, drinks, snorkeling gear, etc... The tide was very low when we arrived, but that did not detract from the tour. In fact, we were able to walk to the reef balls, which was great for our 5 year old. We snorkeled, kayaked, enjoyed the beach, ate, drank, and shopped. We saw plenty of small fish, several rays including a big one, and a bunch of sea turtles. The food was nothing spectacular, but it wasn't horrible. We had worked up quite an appetite, so we ate! We've never thought much about Freeport, but this was a very fun excursion, and if we are ever back at Freeport, it will be at the top of our list!
