Baltimore Signature Lunch Cruise

Food was good. However, the wait time for a drink was insane. My first drink from the bar came out after I finished my meal. The games provided on the upstairs deck like connect four were broken. This experience was way too over priced.

The most memorable parts of the Spirit of Baltimore was the professional staff, the buffet, and the cruise.

Good day everyone. This is my first time sharing facts on any website or business where I have to share this poor review. The intention is to protect other customers who may not be aware of this issue "No Accommodation or Reschedule for Emergency Reasons" with purchasing from a 3rd party company like Viator. I advised the agent I spoke with yesterday to add this to the website information just like the "Non refundable" policy shows to help customers in making decisions before purchasing. Notably, the City Cruise staff was unable to help with overriding some process as well with making adjustments because I bought from a 3rd party. And the staff advised me to speak with Viator so they can make such changes or reschedule me for a different date since it's non-refundable. Details: Remember that "No refunds" was not the problem but not being able to accommodate emergency at some points for customers is not good business. I made reservations for the lunch buffet on May 24, 2023 by 12:00pm EST to celebrate my wife's birthday. We made efforts to adjust our schedules such as having someone watch our youngest, I took hours off early from work and my pregnant wife did a lot to change her routine. This was to make a memory of the day but we missed the Cruise leaving from Baltimore Inner Harbor by 6-9 minutes due to some uncertainties on the road and traffic lights in the city after leaving on time anyways. However, all we asked was to get an opportunity to create the memories again. I called and was soon transferred to speak with an Agent who claimed that "No show/late" policy will prevent them from rescheduling us for a new date. I expected more from such standard cruise or trip advisor but everything is a lesson. Loosing money, time and a long lasting memory after all our efforts is sad. We hope Viator can offer better services, information, and consideration when life happens to people. Thank you.
