Board a motorized canoe for a 40-minute trip along the river, then stretch your legs on a short walk and meet Embera village, who have traditionally lived and worked at the edge of rivers and are known throughout Panama for their distinctive songs, dances, and costumes.
You’ll have time to explore the village, get to know some local people, and learn about life in the community. Sit down for a traditional lunch, then watch a dance that depicts the Embera's relationship with the natural world.

The trip was definitely once in a lifetime! Levy our tour guide was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. The Embera tribe were generous and beautiful people. A little 2 year old girl came up to me and hugged me. I suggest skipping waterfall if the water level doesn’t allow for canoe to go half way there. You definitely need to be in good shape if it hasn’t been raining enough. Overall a worthwhile trip I would recommend to everyone. I didn’t haggle on prices. The price for their handmade goods were better or the same as in town and the money goes directly to the family!!!!!

We were taken care of perfectly. It was just two of us on tour, so it felt like a private one. Everything was exceptional and as described.
