Experience the largest museum for ancient Egyptian art with its treasures from Egypt's great past such as the gold coffin of King Tutankhamun with all its elaborate and high-quality grave goods. Our tour guide will explain the most important exhibits to you in a humorous two-hour stay and answer your questions. Marvel at the last existing wonder of the world - a fabulous experience! You will find a total of three pyramids here: the Chephren, Cheops and Mykerinos pyramids. You can discover the area on foot, on horseback or by camel. Duration between 2 and 3 hours After visiting the pyramids of Giza, you will go to the Great Sphinx, by far the largest and most preserved sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion's body. The Sphinx was carved from the remainder of a limestone mound that served as a quarry for the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Felucca ride on the Nile. for a fee.

    Around 4am you will be picked up from your hotel. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by your guide who will accompany you throughout the tour.

    The excursion begins with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which, in addition to its more than 120,000 exhibits, also houses Tutankhamun's golden coffin. Afterwards enjoy your lunch.

    The further course of the excursion takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The tour of the pyramids ends at the Sphinx and the temple surrounding it. At the end of the day, if time permits, you will have the opportunity to go shopping before embarking on the return journey to Hurghada.

Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafes and a huge colorful dancing fountain, where you will be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.

I took my 10 year old daughter on this trip from Hurghada to Cairo for the day. We had a brilliant time and felt completely safe for the whole journey. The guide- Fahme- was excellent and really looked after my daughter offering her some food, water and necessary bathroom breaks. Agree with other reviews that the Oils and Papyrus add ons were the only disappointing part of the day - would perhaps have been better to visit a more traditional market. This part of the day lasted around 1.5 hours however the sales people were not overly pushy. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone keen on Ancient Egypt.

A brilliant trip to see the best of Cairo & Giza all in a day including return day air transfers from Hurghada. We found the value for money was great, just be prepared to carry some extra cash for tips and any extras. We opted for the additional Nile cruise which was only £10 extra per person payable on the day, and also a Camel ride at the pyramids to take us to the best viewpoint which was also reasonable (think similar around £10 per person plus tips to the keepers) The sights were amazing. There was hot local falafel flatbreads at the boat ride before the late lunch to keep us all going, and later in the afternoon the guide provided ice creams too. Not sure if they are included or was our guide going the extra mile, but he was great with over 30 years experience. Would definitely recommend. Only downside was both the outbound and return flights were an hour late each so there was a bit of waiting at the (air conditioned) airport, but this wasn’t the fault of the tour operator.

My family had a great day out in Giza, and Ahmed was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide. The tour operator was extremely responsive and even allowed us to tweak our visit to the pyramids to include the newly opened Grand Egyptian museum. A trip we will never forget!
