2 Days 1 Night Package to Abu Simbel Temple , Aswan & Luxor Package From Cairo

I booked a very last-minute two-day tour of Abu Simbel Temple and Luxor. A complete package that included city tours of Cairo, Alexandria, tours off the beaten track, made us fall in love with the wonderful people and streets of Cairo, walking down Old Cairo streets, with Nevin narration made me feel like a character of Naguib Mahfouz's trilogy. An eye opener of a visit to the famous garbage street - 'If you can't see the sun, wipe your eyes' and behold the smiles of the beautiful Recyclers of Cairo . We couldn't get enough of the filafel off the streets in Saqqar, they are the best we've ever had. The 4 night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, with Victor - the history teacher as our guide. Walking through the karnak temple or the Valley of the kings or Hatshepsut temple, with Victor was a absolute treat, he brought history alive, such a treat to have such a knowledgeable guide ! The jewel in the crown, was the team making our visit to Abu Simbal a reality on Feb 22nd. Twice a year the sun shines into the inner sanctum of the temple (Feb 22nd and Oct 22nd @ 6:20a). All in all Nevin LAtif and Victor made our Egypt vacation a dream come true !
