Victor greeted us the day before our tour, introduced himself and confirmed our meeting in the lobby of the hotel (very nice!). Our entire trip unfolded in a perfect way with his explanations and continual stories, interwoven with personal reflections and experience. It was an “absolutely delightful” day and experience. Highly recommend and added Kuddos to VICTOR!

We were promptly picked up at our hotel in Bucharest. Away from the big city, we discovered breathtaking mountain vistas, especially with autumn foliage in spectacular bloom. Octavian, our driver and guide for this private tour, was excellent in all ways, making this a very special day for us. The history of these lands is fascinating and Octavian ably answered all our questions. The crowds at the castle in Bran, often referred to as Dracula's Castle, were huge, (school holiday, perfect weather), but our guide made sure we got the best views and saw all the important things. We enjoyed passing through the small towns and the city of Brasov. Beautiful Peles Castle is not open every day in the cooler months so check ahead depending on the time of year you are visiting. If you are traveling to Romania, do not miss this part of the country and hope that you get Octavian to guide you through it.

Can't say enough good things about our guide Octavian. I was very impressed with his knowledge of Romanian and World history. He was able to educate us on a lot of the history surrounding Bran Castle and Peles Castle. There were many things he was able to point out and explain to us that we would have missed had he not been with us on the tour. He pointed out many landmarks on the road trip. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Octavian.
