  • Peles Castle, Sinaia, Romania
    Start your day trip with Peles Castle (inside visit), set in the scenic mountain resort of Sinaia, also called the Pearl of the Carpathians. Tour the Romanian royal family’s former summer residence, which showcases a magnificent palace in the German Renaissance style. Built at the foot of the mountains between 1873 and 1914 by Carol I, the first Romanian king, the palace is considered one of the most beautiful of its kind in Europe.

    Next is the town of Brasov, previously known as Kronstadt. Its well-kept historical center filled with centuries-old homes connected by small streets paved with cobblestone retains its German medieval charm. Your walking tour of this lovely town starts from the main square, which features the Gothic Black Church (BisericaNeagră – inside visit), old City Hall, watch towers, walls around the former citadel, and the narrowest street in Europe.

    Final stop at Bran Castle, commonly known as Dracula’s Castle (inside visit). The imposing construction, originally built as a fortress at the former border between Wallachia and Transylvania, looks out over a valley from its strategic position. The function of this medieval landmark is evident through its grandiose towers as well as its winding narrow staircases and passages. The Gothic appearance adds to the allure while you learn about its infamous ruler, Vlad the Impaler, and its legendary vampire. Conclude your tour with return transport to your hotel in Bucharest.

  • Peles Castle is closed on Mondays year-round and on Tuesdays from 1st of August, 2024, to 1st May 2025. If your tour is booked within this period then you will see Peles Castle from the outside. You will spend more time at Bran Castle and Brasov. Subject to change due to castle policy

  • Free carry on (40x30x20cm) or trolley bag (55x40x23cm) on board with weight up to 5kg per guest/person. Suitcases over 5kg are extra charged with 20 euros per suitcase. Company or staff involved in the activity are not responsible for any of the guests belongings

  • In the event of heavy traffic on the roads or force majeure situations, occasionally the tour can take more than 12 hours

  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Great tour! Even if we only had 2,5 days in Bucharest, this tour was worth every hour. If you read a bit about the history before and take perhaps a city tour before, this trip to Transsylvania gives even a better understanding. We had the pleasure to have Ovi as a guide! What an energy and knowledge he gave, all with humor and great cunning! You will have a fabulous day and most likely you will be first in line ;)

Here's an optimized version of your review: I had a fantastic time visiting three different attractions on this tour, which I took with seven other people in a van. Our tour guide, Andrei, was incredibly knowledgeable about the places we visited as well as Romania as a whole, which made the trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an entertaining and informative way to explore.

Emmanuel was a fantastic and responsible guide. He was a mine of information, providing us with great details and rich history of Romania. He ensured that we could reach early to avoid the crowd and everything was well planned. We were given ample time to do all we needed to. Did a Peles Castle, Brasov old town and Bran castle. Highly recommend this tour with Emmanuel as a guide. Definitely exceeded our expectations in every aspect.
