Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle), Bran, Romania Bran Castle (Romanian: Castelul Bran; German: Schloss Bran; Hungarian: Törcsvári kastély) is a castle in Bran, 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Brașov. It is a national monument and landmark in Transylvania. The fortress is on the Transylvanian side of the historical border with Wallachia, on road DN73.
Commonly known outside Transylvania as Dracula's Castle, it is often referred to as the home of the title character in Bram Stoker's Dracula. There is no evidence that Stoker knew anything about this castle, which has only tangential associations with Vlad the Impaler, voivode of Wallachia, the putative inspiration for Dracula. Stoker's description of Dracula's crumbling fictional castle also bears no resemblance to Bran Castle. 60 minutes
Black Church (Biserica Neagra), Brasov, Romania Biserica Neagră or Black Church (German: Schwarze Kirche; Romanian: Biserica Neagră; Hungarian: Fekete templom); is a church in Brașov, a city in south-eastern Transylvania, Romania. It was built by the German community of the city and stands as the main Gothic style monument in the country, as well as being the largest and one of the most important Lutheran (Evangelical Church of Augustan Confession in Romania) places of worship in the region. 20 minutes
Peles Castle, Sinaia, Romania Peleș Castle (Romanian: Castelul Peleș pronounced [kasˈtelul ˈpeleʃ] (About this soundlisten)) is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania, on an existing medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia, built between 1873 and 1914. Its inauguration was held in 1883. It was constructed for King Carol I.
The complex is northwest of the town of Sinaia, which is 48 kilometres (30 mi) from Brașov and 124 kilometres (77 mi) from Bucharest. In the southeastern Carpathian Mountains, the complex is composed of three monuments: Peleș Castle, Pelișor Castle, and the Foișor Hunting Lodge. 60 minutes

We had a fantastic trip with Marion. We were picked up in a clean, comfortable car. We were taken to Peles Castle, Brasov and the Bran Castle. It was a fantastic day trip, it was long but 100% worth it! We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend taking a tour like this to see a different side to Romania!

First, I think Viator needs to review the companies offering tours through the website. This is the second trip I have booked through them, and both times our tour started much later than the specified times, when our party of 4 were the only passengers on private tours. Two different countries involved. Our tour yesterday, a private day tour to two different castles in Transylvania was booked through Viator, with Carpatia Tours as the operator. The voucher stated an 8:00 am start time, with hotel pickup commencing earlier. The hotel concierge had to call the tour operator at 8:05 am, when it became obvious our guide was not waiting for us. He was informed that pickup was at 8:30, not 8:00 am, as stated on the voucher. The driver and guide arrived for pickup at 8:35 am. Our guide, Elena, apologized profusely for the miscommunication, as she was told 8:30 pickup. We were then treated ro a very informative, beautiful day of driving theough the Carpathia. Mountains, as well as the castles and medieval town of Brasov. Both Elena an our driver, Doro ? made the rest of the day an extremely pleasant journey. Elena and Doro were wonderful, and would probably rate thm at 5 stars, though I would probably suggest using different tour company, due to incompetence on the part of the operator.
