    A natural site with a surface area of 2 ha where you can learn about the secret life of the tortoises and turtles. This park is unique in Europe and is devoted to breeding, studying and protecting land tortoises and turtles from all over the world. The Centre is home to 130 species and over 2,000 animals Since 2017, the park has had a clinic for medical care, surgeries, biochemical and coprological analyzes, in optimal conditions. Next to this room are two rooms incubation temperature and hygrometry controlled, allowing one to hatch females, and the other to hatch males. Newborns are kept for three to four days in incubators, which allows them to use the reserves of their yolk sac ("egg yolk") before being placed in breeding terrariums. Parc très sympa, superbe balade au milieu des tortues avec un paysage très agréable et ombragé ! On voit que les tortues sont bien traitées ???? nous y sommes allés le matin c était top elles étaient toutes en train de manger ???? merci

Malheureusement les tortues sont en captivité principalement pour le plaisir du public. Certaines ont été importées depuis près de 30 ans comme les tortues géantes et bien évidement les plus grandes sont dans les espaces les plus étroits. La tortue alligator est la plus touchante enfermée dans quelques litres d’eau. La côté positif est qu’ils récupèrent et soignent les tortues maltraitées ou blessées pour leur donner une seconde chance et également pousser à la reproduction. Mais en enclos bien sûr puisque qu’elles ne seront jamais remises en liberté.
