The architecture of the house, too, is distinctive: their facades are graced with broad balconies and several buildings are roofed with domes. Notable among these is the majolica dome of the church of Santa Maria dell' Assunta. excellent hotels and bathing and sporting facilities make Positano one of the most favourite and fashionable resort on the Amalfi coast.
