Only on Hilton Head and only in Harbour Town can you sail aboard the real America's Cup, 12 meter, Stars & Stripes once skippered by the famous Dennis Connor. All trips take place under full sail. We only use our motor to get in and out of Harbour Town.

  • We don't offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
  • Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
  • Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

The guides were friendly, but very scripted. They echoed each other on opposite sides of the boat. Passengers had to sit close together on thin floatation squares... Definitely not very comfortable for almost 2 hours. P.S. don't forget your sunscreen! It's gorgeous and super hot, direct sun.

The crew were wonderful, especially Captain Peter. The boat was beautiful and very well kept. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because we leaned so much most of time, and my back didn’t like it. In addition, we returned 30 minutes late, and once the sun went down, we were freezing!

Decided to take a sail boat ride during our trip to Hilton head! My mom and I have ever been on a boat like this before and it was amazing! The captain and the crew were friendly. I got to drive the boat l, which was super cool. We ever out on the ocean for about an hour and a half but it was great! The weather was perfect, crew nice, and we even got to see some dolphins! Prefect first sail!
