We have imagined a different and innovative way for those who want to discover what to do in Valle d'Aosta in addition to the classic sports activities, and in particular what to do in the beautiful city of Aosta: a walking food tour through the restaurants, wine bars and cafes together with a local food expert. Our food tour in Aosta includes a rich meal (lunch or dinner) through the city center, with dishes served in different restaurants and with anecdotes and information about the dishes tasted, the places visited and the local gastronomic tradition.

    Our meeting point is in the square where Porta Pretoria is located. This is the starting point of our walking tour to discover the gastronomic tradition.
  • Mura di Aosta, Aosta, Italy
    On our way to the first stop we pass the historic city walls.
  • Piazza Emile Chanoux, Aosta, Italy
    Passing through Piazza Émile Chanoux we walk to the second stop, where we will taste typical local cheeses.

  • Croce Di Calvino (o Croix-de-ville), Aosta, Italy
    Across Via Croix de Ville, past the City Cross, we arrive at the most important stage: the main course, soup or polenta are a must in Aosta!
    40 minutes
  • Torre del Lebbroso, Aosta, Italy
    To conclude a typical food tour, a good dessert accompanied by an excellent espresso is a must!

An excellent way to learn more about Aosta and the tasty kitchen of the valley. We loved especially the visit in the cheese cave where so many pieces of cheese were stored and the tasting in the neighbouring "grotta". Many thanks to our well prepared and super nice guide that made the food tour to a beautiful memory for our family. This is a tour we would love to recommend to our friends.

Tour molto carino nel centro di Aosta. Katya è stata una guida molto carina e accogliente. I pasti inclusi riguardavano a persona due taglieri, due bicchieri di vino, un primo, caffè e un pacchetto di tegole. Tutti presi in posti diversi anche per fare visitare la città. I cibi erano molto buoni e i posti di qualità. Lo consigliamo a chi vuole assaggiare per la prima volta la cucina di Aosta con una guida. Magari per l'ultima tappa sarebbe meglio unire il dolce e il caffè. Consigliato!
