  • Quebrada Del Toro (The Toro Gorge), Argentina
    The meeting point is in Plaza Antofagasta at 6:15am, in front of the SaltaTrain Station, all the passengers will do the check-in with tickets and passports. Once everyone is registered and seated inside the bus, the journey begins. At 7:35am, your first photographic stop is in Campo Quijano, located 18.5 miles (30 kilometers) from the capital. Return to the bus at 8:05am, and make the second stop at Viaducto del Toro, located on the Quebrada.

  • El Alfarcito, Rosario de Lerma, Argentina
    Continue on and stop at El Alfarcito, a place where the tradition of local handicrafts is kept alive. Enjoy a country breakfast, and visit the craft fair. Also we will be visiting the Father Chifri Fundation, an organization that helps to obtain resources and provides education and training to local people.

  • San Antonio de los Cobres, San Antonio de los Cobres, Argentina
    Then we go straight to San Antonio de los Cobres, a town at the foot of the Terciopelo Hill. Arriving at 11:40am, we will reach the train station and embark on the emblematic Train to the Clouds.

  • Tren a las Nubes, Planta Baja Local 33 Galería Baccaro, A4400 Salta, Argentina
    At 12pm, start the train ride, and experience the beauty of nature, stillness, and immensity. Onboard there is bar service, postal service, and merchandising to make this trip an enjoyment and an unforgettable memory. Around 1pm, arrive to the Viaduct of Polvorilla, the most recognized bridge of the area. Here, descend from the train and have 30 minutes to tour the place and take incredible photos. Get back on the train and start the return to San Antonio de los Cobres, arriving at the station around 2:45 pm.

    Here we will have two hours of free time where we can tour the town, experience different activities with the native communities, among them, you can visit the Craft Market, create a clay pot with your own hands, or make a trekking with llamas (optional, not included).     Around 4:30 pm, go back on board the bus and start our return. After an hour's drive, make our last stop in the village of Santa Rosa de Tastil, where one of the largest archaeological sites in our country is located. It is estimated that it hosted 3,000 people approximately.

The tour is worth it and the photos are stunning. Now you will not hire the "Private Tour: Full Day Train Experience to the Clouds from Salta" for 375€. The train to the Clouds jumps bus-train-bus is exactly the same and costs 161€. Tangol Tours didn't even see them.reci

The tour company was fabulous, but it’s a long day and a long drive and not overly picturesque. Half the seats face at one way on the train and half face the other way. So you could be traveling backwards which makes me nauseous. The seats are pre-assigned at the train station.You’re knee and knee for quite a period of time with the people sitting across from you . It was worse than flying economy. It is nice that they have you change sides of the Planes halfway through the trip. All in all I’m not sure I would recommend this if you have other things you could do instead

POR VIATOR TRIPADVISOR PAGAMOS 4 VECES MÁS !!!!!! QUE LA MAYORÍA DE LOS TURISTAS QUE REALIZARON ESTA EXCURSIÓN EL MISMO DÍA. Realizamos la excursión con mi mujer el martes 23 de julio 2024, reservada a través de Tripadvisor aproximadamente un mes antes. Nos pasaron a buscar por el hotel en camioneta y nos llevaron a la terminal de tren que quedaba a 10 cuadras. De allí micro y luego el tren. GRAN DECEPCIÓN NOS LLEVAMOS CUANDO nos entregan el boleto de bus-tren-bus que decía $ 98.600 por persona. Al hablar con otros turistas, los mismos habían abonado el monto mencionado en el boleto, más aproximadamente $ 3.000 de taxi, por similar trayecto que nosotros hicimos en camioneta. En resumen la mayoría abonó un total de $ 101.600, al cambio oficial de Argentina son U$S 109, de los presentes a quienes preguntamos, el máximo había abonado U$S 150. A NOSOTROS VIATOR TRIPADVISOR NOS COBRÓ U$S 413,82 A CADA UNO !!!!!!!! aproximadamente U$S 300 DE MÁS A CADA UNO !!!!!!!!!!! ME AMARGARON EL VIAJE A SALTA. LA EXCURSIÓN ME PARECIÓ MUY BUENA PERO ESTAR EN EL TREN SABIENDO QUE LA MAYORÍA HABÍA PAGADO 4 VECES MENOS QUE NOSOTROS , NOS GENERÓ UNA SENSACIÓN MUUUUY FEA. No encuentro el sitio exacto en la página de Tripadvisor para hacer este comentario/queja, espero se comuniquen conmigo para darme una explicación/reintegro, utilizo los servicios de Tripadvisor y esto nunca me ha sucedido. ESPERO QUE ALGUIEN DE VIATOR TRIPADVISOR NOS ESCRIBA.
