The driver was not waiting at the agreed meeting point with a sign with our name on it. He was sitting in the car outside in a different part of the airport. We had trouble finding him and then communicating with him. He spoke no English. Even after showing him the picture of his car that he had sent to me, he did not want to open the trunk or allow us to enter the vehicle. As we were walking away to go and find an Uber, he found someone to Translate and agreed to drive us. I have used Viator for many things in different countries and this was the most disappointing experience I’ve had. The car company’s response was that the driver was new. They apologized and said they would penalize him. But while all of our friends hopped in taxis and Ubers and took off, we wandered around the airport trying to figure out how to locate this driver. I will not be using Viator for a car transport again.
Everything else we have done with Viator has been perfect. This was a fail.
