Charent's Arch, Garni, Armenia Not far from Yerevan, near Vokhchaberd village there is this usual at first glance arch. But when you climb the stairs and stand under it, this breathtaking view of Ararat opens to your eyes. It is Arch of Charents by famous architect Rafael Israelian. The arch is dedicated to famous Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents, who liked to walk near these places and admire the incredible view of Mount Ararat. This place is one of the favorite stops for practically all kinds of tourists, – one cannot just resist the temptation not to take few photos against the backdrop of the mountain. 30 minutes
Garni Temple, Garni, Armenia We offer you an amazing excursion from Yerevan to Garni Temple that is the only standing pagan temple in Armenia and Caucasus. It dates back the 1st century A.D. The temple building contains 3rd century Roman bathhouse, ruins of a 7th century Apostolic Armenian Church, ruins of a pre-Christian Summer Palace, the Founding Stone with a Greek inscription and an urartian cuneiform inscription dedicated to an Urartian king 8th B.C. 60 minutes
The Monastery of Geghard, Geghard, Armenia Travelers will continue their tour to Geghard Monastery that is included in UNESCO World heritage List. The monastery had been one of the eminent piligrimage sites since medieval times. The name of the Monastery "Geghardavank" is derived from the Armenian word "geghard" that means "lance". The same lance that was used to stab Jesus during Crucifixion, and is now kept in the museum of Etchmiadin Cathedral. 60 minutes
Kecharis Monastery, Tsakhkadzor, Armenia Kecharis monastery is in the north-western part of Tsaghkadzor. It was built in 11-13th centuries. The monastery consists of four churches and a half-destroyed mausoleum of Grigorius Pahlavuni, who financed the building of the monastery. 45 minutes
GMPW+2R3, Tsachkadzor 2310, Armenië In Tsaghkadzor, the popular ski resort of Armenia, there is a chairlift with 5 stations and more than a dozen ski runs. The armchaired ropeway of Tsaghkadzor is located on the eastern slope of Mount Teghenis 1966-2819 m above sea level. It has been functioning since 1967. From the height of 2819 m, where the speedy chairlift will take you in 32 minutes, all of Armenia is visible at a glance, and if weather is clear, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Ararat. In 2004 the former ropeway was replaced with a new, modern one, also in 2017 important investments were made. Now the ropeway is well equipped, the active and safe rest for tourists is guaranteed. 50 minutes
