Agathi was very friendly, flexible and knowledgeable guide - not only when it came to food, but also regarding history and several local recommendations. She didn't rush through the tour at all and let us take our time at our pace. Before the tour my day/time changed a few times due to flight changes and she was always accommodating. After the tour, I reached out for more recommendations and she was always responsive. I strongly recommend this tour for some delicious local food.

This tour opened us up to so many unique places in Athens and to the wide availability of such delicious vegan food! Alex was a helpful and friendly tour guide, really getting to know us and adjusting the tour to what we wanted to experience. He is knowledgeable about the history and culture of Athens too, which he worked into the tour to round out the experience. We will be going back to many of the shops we visited before we leave Athens.

The tour guide was so friendly and informative, she gave us so much information about the culture as well as taking us to some great places which we then went back to re visit the next day too. As we are vegetarian she made the tour bespoke for us, there was full vegan options for everything but as we eat cheese etc we had alternative options to suit us. My partner doesn't eat mushrooms and she even requested for one of the vegan cafes to do mushroom gyros for me but changed my partners to a soy based meat alternative instead. She was very attentive and we really enjoyed our tour. We had a spinach pie with a custard and cinnamon pie to start, then we were taken to a lovely shop where we had a bag of mixed nuts and I made some purchases as she recommended some smoked salt. We then had fruit smoothies at another cafe, and went to a market where we sampled Greek olives. We then went to another store where we sampled different types of olive oil and also had the chance to sample a Greek spirit which is made from the sap of a Greek tree. We then had the gyros, and then went to a final place where we had loukumades, sort of deep fried doughnut balls. It was all delicious and I would highly recommend.
We always double-check the availability with our local partners for each booking. Even though this is usually a swift process, it can take up to 24 hours. Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative. If the new date and/or time doesn’t fit your itinerary, we will reimburse the full amount paid.
