About the tour

Discover in only 4 hours the Acropolis and its magnificent monuments. You will enter the Acropolis from the south to avoid the crowds. During the tour, you will see all the monuments, like the Pantheon, the Erechtheion and the Nike Temple. The enthusiastic guide will tell you everything about these monuments in an informative way.  

Next, you visit the Acropolis museum. Inside the museum, you see the excavations through the glass floor. This is really something you don't want to miss! The museum exhibits around 4.000 artifacts!

Important: the entrance tickets for the Acropolis aren't included in the ticket price. The guide will buy tickets for you, make sure you bring sufficient cash money to pay the guide. An adult ticket costs € 25.-. For students and persons younger than 18 years old the entrance is free of charge.

  • Entrance to paid museums and tourist attractions are not included in the tour. Tickets (€25.00 per adult) will be purchased by the guides to prevent long waiting times, make sure you bring sufficient cash money to pay the guides
  • Child rate is applicable for children between 6 - 17 years old. Children younger than 5 can join free of charge
  • Student rate is applicable only when holding a valid ID and student card 
  • Food and drinks are not included
  • Note: on 26 April the tour will start 1 hour later than normal, so at 12:30

Amazing
We’d visited all the outside archeological sites and monuments during a weeks stay in Athens so we decided to spend the morning to look around the museum on our last day hoping we wouldn’t be disappointed and we certainly weren’t. The museum is extremely well laid out over 4 floors and you could easily spend a few hours wandering around. The exhibits were clearly explained in Greek and English without having to read endless text. The restoration work is quite brilliant considering the thousands of small broken pieces of artefacts they had to put back together following the sieges and wars from just about every country you can imagine.
