We had an amazing experience on this food tour! The food was absolutely delicious and really unique — a true taste of Oaxaca. Our guide was fantastic; very clear, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the local food but also about the rich history and culture of Oaxaca. You could tell he was passionate and really knew what he was talking about. We discovered places and flavors we would have never found on our own. Definitely a must-do if you’re in Oaxaca!

Enjoyed this tour very much, the guides and assistant were friendly, informative and had a great sense of humor. Tasted many regional food and at least 10 different seasonal fruits some of which I've never had. Also, learned about the rug making process in Teotitlan del Valle. Highly recommend.

This tour was hands down the highlight of our trip to Oaxaca. Betsaida was incredibly knowledgable and warm and really just a very fun hang! We learned so much about the history of the city and its people. THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING. We ate at many different places over the course of our stay, some of them Michelin starred, but after the trip when my husband and I were ranking our favorite things we ate, 4 of the top 5 were from this tour. One thing that was very unique that we definitely wouldn't have been able to do on our own was to try a bunch of the different fruits in the market. They made sure that everything was sanitized for our delicate American stomachs and Fatima was constantly handing out wipes and sanitizer to make sure we stayed out of tummy trouble. Book this tour, I promise you wont regret it. If you can, book it on one of your first days in town so you can revisit your favorite spots!
