Hands down the best tour we’ve ever been on!! If you’re going to see Pico, you have to experience it with Felipe. Not only did he bring us to beautiful views and to a cave walk, he also taught us about Pico’s history and focus on conservation, while making stops along the way to highlight parts of the island wouldn’t have seen, understood or in some case even tasted! I have dietary restrictions, and Felipe called the restaurant in advance to ensure they could accommodate my requests. The place he brought us to was local, authentic and delicious. He also took time to ensure we were tasting the right bread, cheese and wine too. Without question, the tour was a highlight of our two week trip to the Azores and we encourage all to take it!

We had a FABULOUS tour with Filipe (who I called Philip all day☺️) We were shown all parts of the island full of explanations & passion about the wonderful island of Pico. Felipe showed us highlights & the most picturesque spots. He also gave us some time to explore on our own. The highlight of our tour was the ‘special’ Portuguese lunch & the very unique setting we were in. We truly felt like we were immersed in the culture & uniqueness that Pico island has to offer. Thank you Filipe/Philip for making our day in Pico so memorable! ????
