We had the tour with Maia. She was very friendly. It was very emocional to do the tour with her. We could enter in the old synagogue at the gótico quarter

We met Dina in Barrio Gothic and she gave us some Catalan history first. She was very sweet and learned. Her depth of History for Spain, Catalan and the Jews was expansive. We were a little overwhelmed at times but I learned so much. I wish we could have spent more time wandering after the tour. Timing prevented us. She spoke English very well and shared some exciting Jewish academic accomplishments as well as very sad history of what happened to the Jewish community. The Inquisition was quite horrifying. Can't help but remember the building she showed us that was constructed out of tombstones from the Jewish cemetery on Montjuic. Very well done tour.
