Nis Fortress, Nis, Serbia The tour leads to the most popular destinations of the Southern Serbia. First of them, Nis city, once known as Naisus, is famous as a birthplace of the first Christian Roman Emperor, Constantine the Great. You will explore Nis fortress, a cultural and historical monument located on the Nišava River bank, protected by law in May 1948 and declared a cultural site of great importance. 45 minutes
Skull Tower, Nis, Serbia While visiting Skull tower, you will learn about The First Serbian uprising against Ottomans in 19th century and its victims. The history lesson continues at a concentration camp from World War II, one of the few fully preserved fascist camps in Europe. Even today, it provides authentic testimony to the perils of the Serbian, Roms, and Jewish population, communists, numerous supporters of the liberation movement and partisans, who were incarcerated here during the German occupation of Serbia (1941-1945). 60 minutes
Davolja Varos, Prolom, Serbia Finally, you will discover The Devil’s Town (Djavolja Varos) - one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature nominees. This natural monument is comprised of two natural and rare in the world phenomena: the soil figures (specific forms of relief) and two springs of extremely acid water with high mineralization. These two rare phenomena are together observed as the “Devil’s Town”, and are a remarkable wonders of nature. It features 202 exotic formations described as earth pyramids or “towers”, as the locals refer to them. The peculiarity of these wonders of nature is complemented by the natural surroundings, almost mystical, and in the wider area picturesque and tame. The remains of a settlement, the old church and a few interesting mining groves, only add to the uniqueness of this place. 60 minutes

I had a fantastic, private 3-days tour with an excellent driver and guide.
The tour was very organized. The guide picked me on a time at the accommodation.
I really enjoyed the history and sites on the tour.
Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved Devils Town!! Goran took us to lunch in this really cool restaurant with no electricity! Nis had no chance of being great following Devils Town, but it was ok. Goran was magnificent!! I have a very bad knee & an equally painful back!!! Goran made sure I was ok every step of the way...he was very kind & very knowledgeable!! If there was ever a five star day this was it!!

The sites that we saw on our tour were very interesting, however our guide admitted that he had only given it one other time...years ago. There were times that we had to wait for HIM to take photos before we could check things out ourselves. He was unable to answer many of our seemingly basic questions. He drove up to 200km/h at times enroute to some places, only to have to stop for a fifteen-minute break at a random gas station/restaurant so he didn't get in trouble at the toll stop for driving too fast. We felt this was unsafe and a waste of time. When we got to the concentration camp he told us that there would be another English speaking guide to explain things. This was not the case. He then told us that there was signage inside the building in English that would help us. Only about ten percent of the signage was actually in English. A friend of mine took this same tour the day before we did with a different guide and had a wonderful, informative experience. I think this would have been an awesome tour with a guide who had more knowledge of the itinerary. Be prepared for quite a hike at Devil's Town! Nis was an interesting city. The concentration camp was sobering and a must-see!
