Maya Archaeology & Cave Adventure Combo for an Awesome Experience! Walk the footsteps of the ancient Maya - marvel at the immense structures built without modern day technology - delve into the history and mystery of the Maya while exploring this fascinating site. At the Temple of the Masonry Altar, the solid jade head carving of the Maya sun god was discovered! The view from atop is beautiful and offers a panoramic view of this Mayan site as well as the surrounding pristine jungle. Then journey to Bermuda Landing Village, home to the Black Howler Monkey Sanctuary. Be amazed at the roar these small creatures make as they call across the jungle canopy! Impressive temple complex made even better by no crowds. Walk in the jungle was interesting and interaction with monkeys was very cute.

Incredible tour with Elvin today. The Mayan ruins were stunning and he was an excellent tour guide and host. The howler monkeys were awesome!

Great experience. Elvin was a great guide and was very knowledgeable. He was very laid back and funny and really made my day enjoyable. Altun Ha was nice to see and seeing the monkeys up close was something I won't forget. Our guide Robert at the sanctuary told us we don't always see the monkeys but he was able to find them and even get them howling my mimicking their noises.
