    Heading onwards, you will reach the gorgeous town of Engelberg, famed for its immaculate winter scenery, rich spiritual history, and of course, its artisan cheese. As you make your way through the pretty town center, your guide will reveal the stories behind the famous Engelberg Abbey - a Benedictine monastery built in 1120 - and how it came to be the only site of its kind in Switzerland to have a dairy.

    You will head to the magnificent lake of Trübsee Here you will learn with your taste buds as you sample creamy and aged cheese. Your expert guide will be on hand to tell you what goes into each cheese and the traditional methods used in the different regions.

  • Mount Titlis, Engelberg, Switzerland
    Next, you will head to the cable cart station, and begin the ascent to the top of Mount Titlis before making a stop at the stunning lake of Trübsee. As your cart climbs closer to the summit, you will be treated to stunning views over the Alps, with mountains, valleys, and crystalline lakes stretching as far as the eye can see. Your guide will share stories about the history and culture of the region, pointing out spots of interest you might otherwise have missed. When you reach the top you will have the chance to explore the Glacier Cave, with its centuries-old ice tunnels and fresh glacial air, and the Titlis Cliff Walk, which offers 360-degree views and an exhilarating route across a suspension bridge. Those looking for an adrenaline-fuelled adventure will also have the chance to take the Ice Flyer to the Titlis Glacier Park. This thrilling chair lift will sweep you over crisp snowfields, with nothing beneath you except icey air and birds-eye views of Titlis.

From booking to the end of the tour I can’t say enough good things about our day. I made a big error when scheduling and Jonas called me and sorted everything out. My family of 6 had a wonderful day with Lina who is a very knowledgeable, sweet and patient tour guide. She made us feel like she was a part of our family. After 30 minutes together she totally understand what my family was looking for and went out of her way to give us all the best experience possible. She also is a great photographer and showed us all the best spots for beautiful pictures. We originally had signed up for a cheese tour but due to Covid we were not able to go on that part of the trip. Instead of just cancelling that part of the trip we pleasantly surprised to find out we were booked on the ice flyer. It was amazing and I think everyone enjoyed it more than they would having at the cheese tour. At the end of our tour Lina recommended a restaurant in Lucern and made sure we fully understood the train system so we would get home safe. We spent 9 days in Europe and this day was at the top of them all. Thank you Jonas and Lina for such an amazing adventure. We loved Switzerland and hope to return again one day.

The tour was amazing! The train ride was so scenic and fast. Engelberg village is so pretty and our guide was very knowledgeable, not to mention the views up from the Mountain Titlis! Highly recommend this tour and company for future travels!
