Extraordinary museum. Interesting and informative. So glad we had a guide, Marta, who was knowledgeable and she gave us much more information than the museum’s descriptions of each object or fact.

Bogotá’s gold museum is simply wonderful! Tens of thousands of pieces of gold, mostly from before the Spanish Inquisition. The best of the best - and the videos on how the objects were made were excellent. Add to that an exceptional guide, Mauricio, who knew how to make history come alive - as well as his way around the museum - and this was one of the best museum experiences possible.
