    Its collection is divided into four sections: art, history, archeology, and ethnography. The museum hosts a collection of over 20,000 pieces including artworks and representative artifacts of different Colombian periods of history. The permanent exhibitions present archeological and ethnographic samples from objects found in this region dating from 10,000 years BC, to current indigenous and afro-Colombian art and cultural heritage. On this tour, you will be picked up at your hotel at 10:00 am, and you’ll be taken to the Museum where you’ll meet your guide. He will give you a private and personalized guided of the Museum while telling you amazing stories and facts about Colombian past and present. After the tour, you will have the opportunity to go to the souvenir shop where you can find some gifts for your beloved ones back home.

It provides a great supplement to one’s knowledge of the history and culture of Colombia. Raul brought it all togrether for me in an erudite, professional manner. He was also my guide for the spectacular Museo de Oro, where he earned my equal respect. Raul is totally fluent in English, altough I preferred Spanish to develop my skills in that langage. He is one of the most impressive tour guides I have met. Warren Hunt

¡El tour ha sido excelente! La guía Andrea es espectacular! El recogido de casi tres horas en el museo al lado de Andrea me permitió conocer más de la historia de Chile, no solo por las explicaciones de lo que víamos en el museo, pero también por los diálogos acerca de política, economia, sociedad! Me encantó todo! Un carro nos recoge en el hotel hasta el museo, donde el guía nos espera. El museo es muy grande, muy interesante, y, realmente, una atracción que uno no debe dejar de visitar cuando en visita a Bogotá, ya que es un buen sítio para conocer más del país. También me sorprendió que el museo cuenta con exposiciones temporárias sobre temas modernos, cuando fui había una exposición sobre grafitti muy interesante!

El Museo Nacional es increíble! Allá podemos tener una idea de toda la historia de Colombia, desde los pueblos indígenas, la colonización española, has los acontecimientos que pasaron más recientes. La guía Andrea ha sido excelente, por medio de sus explicaciones he podido aprender mucho de la historia de Colombia. El museo es muy grande, hay lugar para tomar un café, un restaurante y una tienda de regalos.
