Took a 30 minute air plane tour today from the lake and around the mountains. I was so excited and have never done this before. Overall: un-impressed. Here’s why: there is no direction once you arrive and nobody to guide you until the plane begins. Plane itself? Nauseating. I’ve never gotten car sick or air plane sick... ever, but this made me dizzy and nauseas. When you sit down the pilot lets you know he’s giving you a history tour of what we are seeing. (Glaciers ? Lakes ? What lake ? Mountains? Which mountain? What am I seeing?) these questions will pop into your mind as you are on the plane. Usually they should tell you, as stated in the tour description. However not today. He said the sound system was down. He did not explain anything — when asked he said “just enjoys the views. Sorry bout that” Excuse me? I payed 185 dollars for a 30 minute tour. That mean every minute I am paying 6$ and when you tell me I won’t listen to the history, I’m extremely disappointed and honestly,..... totally deceived on the tour and service. What a shame!!!! The views were gorgeous. I just wish I knew what I was seeing and the history behind it like promised.

Helt magisk upplevelse. Detta var min överraskning till resten av familjen på vår resa till Pacific North West och det blev helt enastående! Det var lite pirrigt när vi taxade ut på sjön för att lyfta, men denna flygning med företagets minsta flygplan (de Havilland Beaver) blev till och med mycket lugnare än flygningen från Sverige till Seattle! Trots att vi flög över både berg och dalar upplevde vi inte några luftgropar eller liknande. Landade på Lake Lovely Water (1150 möh), där vi skulle äta lunch. Tyvärr hade bolaget glömt bort vår lunchbeställning, men jag och äldre sonen passade då istället på att ta ett snabbt bad i det kalla vattnet. Också en häftig upplevelse! Vi flög sedan tillbaka igen och alla fyra i familjen var helt överens om att detta var nog höjdpunkten på hela vår resa till BC och WA. Rekommenderas mycket varmt!

Så underbar upplevelse! Vi flög över Garibaldi Provincial park samt Tantalus Provincial part, väglöst land med glaciärer, berg och turkosa sjöar. Helt fantastiskt! Vi flög med deras minsta plan. Piloten var mycket skicklig och landade oss på en liten glaciärsjö, Lake Lovely Water, mitt i bergsmasiven. Lite pirrigt men så vackert! Rekomenderas varmt!
