A private 2.5+ Hour lakeside, backcountry lunch where you will be free to explore the local wildlife, sample delicious charcuterie and salads, and perhaps bring along a bottle of your favourite wine. Your guide will be happy to teach you about your surroundings, go for short hikes in the sub-alpine terrain, and ensure a gourmet catered experience.

    Accompanied by an ACMG Guide, our pilot will fly you to one of our alpine lake locations where you will get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the serene surroundings with a delicious gourmet picnic. If you wish to take advantage of the chilled glacier lakes, you can select our Paddleboarding option to explore the lake as well.

  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

I booked the heli-picnic for my wife birthday. I had lots of questions during the booking process because we were going with our 2 kids (age 3 and 5) and all my questions were answered promptly and accurately. The day of the booking, we met our guide Dave who was just amazing. He obviously knows the area extremely well and was very good at giving us privacy during the picnic. My son and I have motion sickness, so Dave warned our pilot Carter who did a fantastic job at flying smoothly over the mountains. It was an amazing feeling to fly over the mountains, land close to this beautiful lake, and enjoy a delicious lunch. There was enough food for 5-6 adults, so we were able to bring leftovers home. After lunch, Dave took us on a quick hike to a waterfall before being picked up by the helicopter. Overall, it was a perfect birthday present, thanks to Blackcomb Helicopter and its amazing team!!

A favourite part?! all of it! But the stunning Alpine lake swim was the best. The colour and temperature of the water were stunning and perfect for a hot smokey day. Awesome!!

I scheduled the Picnic and paddle boarding tour to purpose, the staff were super kind and kept everything a secret literally up in till we got into the helicopter. (she had no idea what we were actually going to be doing that day) The flight to the mountain was beautiful and once we landed the guide was very informative and professional, he let us hike around while he set up lunch. Lunch was a good variety of food and it was delicious. (probably was enough food for 4 people). After that we took the paddle boards out which was just unreal. The guide Dave, was more then happy to take photo's and assist anyway possible. 10 out of 10 would recommend this tour!
