    Stop at a prime position before the gates to behold the impressive Changing of the Guards Ceremony, a colorful and traditional performance that combines vibrantly dressed soldiers with rhythmic drum beats. Depending on the schedule of the Household Cavalry, you may experience either the Changing of the Foot Guards or the Changing of the Horse Guards in London. These events are renowned for showcasing British tradition and military precision, further adding to London's fame. Please note: If there is heavy rain — or if the Changing of the Guard is rescheduled to early morning (as on some Sundays) — the ceremony will be replaced with a walking tour.

  • The Changing of the Guards is subject to changes in date, time and cancellation at the discretion of British authorities. Cancellation due to bad weather or other circumstances is not announced before the morning of the ceremony. When this occurs, you will be provided with a walking tour of Westminster city instead
  • Please note that the changing of the guard schedule may change and on different dates we will see either Foot Guards or Horse Guards.

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

This was a good tour. Mary, our travel guide was knowledgeable and having a communication device with earpiece helped us hear about what she was talking about as she walked us by the sites.

We were disappointed that it rained so the changing of the guards want able to take place. But Kevin, our guide, kept us entertained until it was our turn to enter the palace. Overall it was a lovely experience.

Tour guide didn’t keep track of the large group. Walked across the street and didn’t take notice we all didn’t make it across and preceded leaving us to catch up. Lost members at the Changing of the Guard … they finally found us at Buckingham Palace. Assumed Americans don’t know what nursery rhymes or Henry the Eighth was. Was more concerned with what movie was being made than the tour. For me a waste of money and time. She felt the changing of the guard was a waste of time Thought that’s what I was paying for. DON’T waste your money could’ve done this for Free by myself
