The Adventure Tour has been recognized as a Canadian Signature Experience. As the longest tour we offer in Rat’s Nest Cave, the Adventure Tour is the complete package. Cavers will rappel 18m (that’s 6 Stories!) inside the cave, plus have the opportunity to push your limits in the warm-up squeeze, challenge squeeze, and the Laundry Chute – a section of the cave that adds a little extra challenge but a whole lot of extra fun.

  • Minimum numbers apply (minimum 2). There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
  • Caving is a moderately strenuous activity. Guests should be prepared to hike uphill for 30-40 minutes on a mountain trail, in addition to climbing, crawling, squeezing, and sliding through the cave. All participants must wear a helmet as well as a safety harness which has a maximum waist size of 45" (114 cm) and a maximum leg size of 33" (84 cm)
  • Not recommended for pregnant women beyond their first trimester

    One of the coolest things I’ve ever done. My partner and I booked the big tour and had the pleasure of going just ourselves. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and experienced. Would love to go back and do some more exploring!

    1st time was in 2022 & have been wanting to go again! The whole experience is very enjoyable. This is the first thing I recommend to people visiting Canmore. The tour guide is very knowledgable, he made the whole experience 10/10!

    John was an amazing tour guide—fun, calming, and perfect for a nerve-wracking caving experience! My group had a blast and learned way more than we expected. Can’t wait for the next trip out there!
