This trip was very chaotic and unorganised. We were picked up on time but found two other travellers picked up by the wrong car - they wanted to go on a camel ride only but were convinced to join us on the Atlas mountains visit and then go to Agafay for the ride afterwards. They were then asked for more money for this, despite it being a mistake of the tour company. It was hard not to feel bad for them. The trip itself had good and bad. First we visited a berber house, which felt like a tourist attraction rather than an authentic look at a family home. Then we were taken to an argan oil exhibit and shop, where we were given a hard sell on products. A warning to others - the one item I considered purchasing was double the price here than in the medina (and the medina isn't cheap!). We then made our way up to Setti Fadma, the furthest village, where we hiked a little and then had lunch by the water. It was such a beautiful place and I'm glad we went in the end, just to see this place and enjoy the cooler weather. However, when we sat down for lunch we were not given a menu or options but told by the guide that he had ordered two tagines and already paid. Great... until he asked for 50 dirham each for lunch afterwards (which is way more than he would have paid for 2 tagines and some drinks, as there was 4 of us in total). Overall it felt unorganised and gimacky. And to top it off, the guide insisted my brother write a review there infront of him - so beware of all the positive reviews.
