This was a really fun and relaxing day on a lovely sailing vessel and I would definitely recommend it to adults or families with older (teen) kids.
The boat is lovely and well-appointed, and the captain and crew are very welcoming and attentive.
We saw dolphins and beautiful coastal scenery on our trip, and the spot we stopped to swim was calm and uncrowded. The floating mattress was a nice touch.
We really liked the onboard music playlist of reggae and Latin tunes, and the volume was just right - not deafening like some of the party boats can be.
The numbers on board kept it from feeling crowded and it was one of the main reasons I chose this particular cruise - crowd size to boat size.
The food was fresh and tasty, and it was easy to get drinks as needed.
Most of the other passengers were fun and interesting, and we had some very nice conversations with them.
I would not recommend this tour for younger kids due mostly to the fact that it's really much more adult-oriented, and I think young kids would be bored. Quite a few of the other passengers got inebriated to a pretty high degree (off-color language and jokes and loud conversations), and that might be upsetting or offensive to some people.
It is, however, possible that it was totally a function of the crowd that day, but if that kind of thing would be bothersome, I would recommend checking into a private charter of the boat for your family group.
We, however, very much liked the fact that there were no younger children onboard and would heartily suggest the trip for couples or families with older or adult kids.
All in all a very fun day on the water.
