Discover the stunning Chiflon Waterfall and explore one of the highest and most powerful waterfalls in Chiapas and all of Mexico, Cascada El Chiflón. It tumbles 120 meters down a nearly vertical limestone cliff, sending waves of mist wafting across the hot dry landscape. Discover the beauty of Montebello Lakes National Park, the first national park in Chiapas created in 1959 and in 2009 the park was designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. Your tour includes transport and a guide.

  • Parque Nacional Lagunas de Montebello, Chiapas, Mexico
    Admire the Montebello Lakes National Park, visiting from 4 to 6 lakes where you can appreciate its crystalline waters ranging from pale blue through violet, emerald and turquoise. They are famous for the color of their waters which is unique due to several factors, among which include the type of soil found at the bottom, the vegetation and the refraction of light. The tour is framed by a reed valley, mountains and tropical jungle in which rich and dense flora can be seen, including several species of orchids, bromeliads, juniper trees, palomillo trees, sapodilla, cedar and mahogany, among others.

    Our adventure starts when you are picked up at the door of your hotel, so you can continue toward the Chiflón Waterfalls, where through almost 5000 feet, you'll be able to admire a series of waterfalls. You can reach the highest part of the mountain to enjoy the breeze from the Bridal Veil waterfall and its impressive drop of over 300 feet.

La visite de la cascade de chiflon est sympa mais on a pas assez de temps pour faire l'ensemble. A montebello, arrêt sur la laguna pojoj. Repas puis tour en radeau pour relier une île au milieu de la lagune pour ceux qui le souhaite (non compris dans le prix et sans intérêt). Au final on a passé 2h30 sur cette lagune. A la suite de cela, on voit la laguna verde du camion et on termine de nuit au lago tzicao pour voir la frontière guatémaltèque (et remanger). Sinon la route est jolie.

This was unbelievable experience, my English tour guide was well knowledge and professional. The tour restaurant clean and food was good.
