Ninety kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama we find the Geiser del Tatio, a 10-square-kilometer geothermal field considered one of the most important on the planet and the highest in the world (4,200 masl). There we will find geysers of steam, water, mud, etc. that surpass the 15 meters of height, true boilers of water boiling at temperatures of 85 degrees. It is amazing to see the play of light that originates with the sunrise, magnificent colors and view.

    We start the tour from your hotel in San Pedro with a maximum of 15 people per van. The guide will receive you and then we head to Geysers del Tatio. The tour includes the park entrances.      Departure time: 5:0hrs/5:30 hrs   Arrival time: 12:30hrs.    This tour includes breakfast.   We will begin this tour accompanied by a hearty breakfast, admiring all this majestic geothermal activity and the more daring can enter the pool of thermal waters to finally lower and appreciate what nature has reserved for this place. We will surprise you with vizcachas, llamas, vicunas and birds such as flamingos, tawa, puna duck, Andean goose among others, and the different flora that offers us the Chilean plateau, with a small stop to taste some local gastronomy, in the little village of Machuca, very famous for its skewers of llama.

This is a great tour. If you are not morning person then it could be hard. Our guide Allen was great. There were not many English speaking tourist but he did a great job in explaining. Be ready for the sun and high altitude. Nice simple breakfast in nature. Enjoyed it.

This is a place you must visit, because the landscapes are taken from another planet, this is something you cannot miss, the guided tours are the best, our guide was very friendly and speaks fluent English.

Teníamos un paquete turístico desde 2020 con la Agencia Chile Conectado x una semana, pagamos en reales en Brasil, lo que fue super cómodo. La agencia fue super servicial desde que todo se canceló por causa del Covid, no solicitamos reembolso y pudimos finalmente realizar el viaje en Nov.22. Tuvimos una experiencia espectacular con mi marido, hicimos todos los tours con el guía Alex Sanchez, tipo tour exclusivo, fue increíble. Alex es muy comunicativo, nos fue ajustando los tours para poder aprovechar mejor los días, en casi todos los tours nos preparaba desayunos deliciosos. Super hiper puntual, tenía buenas recomendaciones de restaurantes, de todos los precios, nos dejaba aprovechar los paisajes, tomar fotos, siempre llegábamos de los primeros a los lugares, nunca nos anduvo apurando, tuvimos conversaciones interesantes y divertidas. Alex nos indicava el día anterior que ropa usar, que llevar, que podiamos comer o beber. Como él mismo nos mencionó, en San Pedro, los paisajes son el 90%, hay que saber apreciarlos y el 10% restante, lo hacen el rutero y el guía, nuestro viaje fue 100%.
