"Well behaved women seldom make history!" History is meant to be fun! Get funky on this 2.5 hour boozy tour in LoDo (Lower Downtown Denver). You’ll journey back in time to the early days of Denver and experience what life was like for the women of Denver during the late 1800’s. You’ll drink your way through Denver’s original Red Light District and we'll explore taboo topics of sex, hysteria, patent medicine, true crime, forbidden love triangles and learn about the famous madams of Market Street (aka the row). This is a fun pub tour where you'll laugh, drink, meet new friends and gain insight into a unique era of our cities' history. Drinks are NOT included with ticket price. Corporate wife solo travelers prepare for fun! I am a sucker for any historical tours highlighting female perspectives in years past, so the title of the tour spoke to me. This tour begins in a hostel (a hidden historical gem) and should advertise pub a bit more than history. Rachel wanted us to have fun as she delivers lines about the historical evolution from western town to modern day Denver. As a solo corporate wife traveler, it provided great connection to information and interesting people in a safe and walkable manner around many downtown Denver areas. Rachel knew how to capture Insta shots perfectly and highlighted areas I could not have found in my limited time in town. As stated, it begins in a very cool hostel (with a relatively low price point) - prepare for the diversity this provides - which I love! Isn't that why we travel? My afternoon turned into late evening with a couple of the other travelers - I even came home after hubby :) - perhaps my lucky day? I would highly recommend this tour for an afternoon in Denver. *I just saw that the tour name now includes "pub". Good addition!

Fun, fun, fun! If you’re looking for a few hours of the sordid history of Denver, with stops at really cool historical locations, topped off by some great watering holes, this is for you. Rachel is entertaining and shared the craziest stories in a most engaging manner. Great people, great time!

Rachel, our tour guide was energetic and fantastic! Fun to learn some lesser known history of historic Denver. Also to be introduced to a handful of bars and the dairy block. At our last stop we played a dice game from the 1800s. It was a nice addition to the mix.
