Admiring the effort of one of the longest living species on the planet to ensure its survival. This tour is to observe the nesting process of sea turtles, accompanied by a local guide who will explain you the process or actions that are taking place in the world of sea turtles during their nesting season (July 1 to October 31 ) One of the most special experiences in liven time. Be advised it is possible we do not get to see a turtle, it is a natural process and we can not bring a turtle from the sea, they must come on their wish. How to dress and what to bring: BLACK CLOTHING or as dark as possible NON CAMERAS OR CAMCORDERS, hiking shoes, small backpack with bottled water, mosquitoes repellent , flashlight.

    You will be allowed to observe 4 of the 7 processes that the turtle performs while nesting on the beach. These 4 processes are: 1-The laying of eggs. 2- Compaction of the eggs. 3- Camouflage of the nest. 4- Return of the turtle to the sea. of course we can not promisse you will see all of the process, since it depends on the turtle and she feels. To OBSERVER a sea turtle nesting she must be relaxed and had arrived about 1 hour earlier, that is the time it takes to a turtle to start the laying of the eggs and that is the ideal time to reach near her and enjoy this unique event. Once the observation of 1 or up to the 4 processes get finished, we must leave the beach and return to hotel.

Actual experience seeing turtle nesting was incredible but the tour could have been organised better. If we ought to do it again, we would ask for Verny to guide this tour as he was incredible in canal tour.

Le guide est excellent ! Il connaît extrêmement bien le sujet, parle français et avons pu voir les tortues pondre et retourner à la mer. Je recommande absolument cette expérience.

Nous avons pris ce tour dans l'espoir d'assister au merveilleux phénomène de ponte des tortues marines et nous avons été ravis. Nous avons pu voir une tortue en train de pondre et une autre qui retournait à l'eau. Notre guide, qui parlait français, a été très efficace et très pédagogue (nous avons appris pleins de choses sur les tortues). La visite est très bien organisée et l'intimité des tortues bien respectée. Je recommande vivement cette magnifique expérience de la nature.
